Missing Portraits

There are a number of years that do not have portraits of all of the students in the senior class.

If you have a student's portrait that could be published in place of the missing portrait, please contact the of WaldronMI.us.

We Need Access to Missing Yearbooks

We need to borrow Waldron Area High School yearbooks or composite class pictures (for the earlier years) for scanning. Or, as an alternative, we seek your help in scanning the "missing" years if you have possession of those yearbooks or pictures.

The years needed are:

  • 1911
  • 1913
  • 1915
  • 1918
  • 1919

  • 1920
  • 1921
  • 1922
  • 1923
  • 1925
  • 1926

  • 1992

  • 2008
  • 2010

Did any students graduate in 1992?

Schoolhouse Project Delayed

The Waldron area one-room schoolhouse project is on an indefinte hold because of illness.

One-room Schoolhouse Project

Roy Myers, Class of 1970, is leading a project to photograph all existing one-room schoolhouses in the Waldron Area School District. We hope to publish them on this site in the spring or early summer of 2009.

If you have any historical pictures of any of the following schoolhouses, will you please provide us with a digital copy of them? Some buildings no longer exist while some others have been converted into residences.

Names of the known schoolhouses: Yellow, Pink, White, Banner, Virginia, Wheeler, Independent, Macedonia, Snow, Green, Bean Patch, Mitchell, Black and Brown.
